Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
Breakfast – brunch actually – at Flounder’s is yummy! They serve delicious seafood fare. Plus the atmosphere is very relaxed and casual – very beach-y actually! |
Lunch |
Peg Leg Pete’s lunch at Peg Leg Pete’s is fantastic. My brothers and I especially love the Mixed Grill – includes basted and chargrilled jumbo shrimp with fresh gulf grouper and large sea scallops, served with rice pilaf, vegetable, and garlic toast. |
Dinner |
My family and I all loved the steak at Jackson’s – tasty and tender and thoroughly cooked –I like my steaks well done so I was pleased about this. The ambience is a little formal but I like that it’s cozy and has that old-school feel. |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
First stop is the Museum of Naval Aviation. My brothers loved that the flight simulator sort of thing and the Blue Angels Exhibition. I liked it too, but what I really enjoyed was their IMAX theater. Being the couch potato that I am, I was awestruck when i first saw the giant screen. And the fact that it was in 3D makes it even more exciting. I think even my parents enjoyed that because I saw my mom sort of duck a bit like she was trying to avoid being hit my something, then laughed a little afterwards. I think she got carried away by the 3D thing. |
Afternoon |
After we had lunch at Peg Leg Pete’s we drove all the way to the beach. I love the beach, and I like it that we can do a lot of activities in the beach there like go go jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving, skim boarding and the like. |
Evening |
After we had dinner at Jackson’s we headed for Seville Square and just enjoyed the live musical perfromances there. We got lucky ‘cause we didn’t even know that Evenings in Olde Seville was on! So cool, ‘cause we all love music in the family! |
